Kingdom Bound Off to A Great Start

Kingdom Bound is off to a great start thanks to a lineup of speakers including Tommy Reid and Jerry Gillis and of course the first night wouldn't be complete without a great worship concert by Casting Crowns. The band from Atlanta, GA are youth leaders when they aren't touring the country leading thousands into worship. Lead singer Mark Hall led a candlelight service of worship, singing many of the bands top songs while also sharing from his heart what he believes church is all about. Not the guitars, not the externals, but the person of Jesus Christ. "The gates of hell will not prevail," he reminded the large crowd. Hall also reminded the many attendees that just as the candles are lit, so we must remember to pray for our neighbors and share Christ with them. Casting Crowns is known for their stirring lyrics and intimate worship and tonight did not disappoint to a packed out crowd at Darien Lake's main stage.

Monday-Wednesday's schedule is posted at http://kingdombound.org/schedule.php
