300 Volunteers Still Needed

Approximately 300 volunteers are still needed as of yesterday for the Rock the Lakes Work Projects this August 20-25 as preparation for the festival September 22-23 at Coca-Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. Over 30 projects are planned on Buffalo's West Side in partnership with Jericho Road Ministries who has working knowledge of the needs of the area. The Tabernacle Church in Orchard Park is helping to mobilize volunteers for the week long service projects. The church has been involved in rehabilitating homes in the West Side for over 5 years through Breakout Youth Outreach and Extreme Makeover posted on their website, "We're convinced God has set this opportunity before us to minister His love in like manner. We're believing God for many tangible and intensely beneficial projects to once again touch an entire community with His love bringing contagious hope to so many people!"
