Join The Sound in Top 10 on iTunes

"Join the Sound" has broken into the top 10 on iTunes
for Christian music. Brothers McClurg bring a unique
eclectic worship experience.
Brothers McClurg has done it again. The band's newest album release, their first full length release since signing with Integrity Music, "Join the Sound" has already broke the top 10 Christian albums on iTunes and it's not a wonder why. The newest album by the band made up of brothers Anthony and Chris Hoisington and friends consists of 14 unique worship songs combining rock, folk and country elements into the album available now on iTunes.

The album is a breakthrough in Christian worship combining creative and theologically sound song writing that takes deep truths of the faith and brings them into a contemporary worship experience. Songs like "From Every Stormy Wind That Blows," and "Come to the Fount" bring traditional orthodox truths back into the mainstream evangelical conversation.  Songs like "Living Water" bring a poetic, raw, bear your heart before God nature to modern day worship, reminicent of the heart of David with lyrics set to inspiring harmonies, "Your love is like an ocean, with beautiful, violent waves throwing my heart in motion." And that according to the brothers is the point of the album, "We all have a sound to contribute to the overall conversation," said Chris Hoisington.

Overall I find the album a refreshing invitation into a deeper worship experience from two passionate worship leaders who want to share the joy they have found in Christ with the world. The album's unique and diverse sounds make it something that can draw you into the depths of worship and at the same time combines a musically enjoyable experience for listening pleasure. Gone with this album is the stereotype that Christian music lacks creative and skilled musical ability. Their depth of relationship with Christ is evident and comes out clearly in the songs that have been birthed out of years of experience with the Lord. While most of the songs were co-written by the brothers, guest song writers include Paul Baloche, All Sons and Daughters and Rend Collective Experiment. These songs will take your church or small group to a new level of worship and passion for Jesus. I highly recommend it. --Kyle Patterson, Editor, Unite Magazine
