Israel Houghton and New Breed are performing live in concert August 23 at Elim Christian Fellowship in Buffalo. The popular musician’s unique combination of gospel, jazz and rock has made him one of today's most popular Christian musicians. Houghton also serves as one of the worship leaders at Lakewood Church in Houston (pastored by Joel Osteen)—the largest church in the country. Houghton has won numerous awards-six Dove Awards, a Soul Train Award and four Grammy Awards and two gold-selling albums. He has written numerous classics including, “Friend of God” and performed at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards alongside Aretha Franklin and Bebe Winans.
