Teen Challenge of WNY goes ProActive in Fund Raising Efforts

Teen Challenge of WNY (TCWNY) is a faith-based, residential 14-month drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that aspires to “…help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.”  Our daily schedule includes prayer, discipleship classes and work therapy.  We also involve ourselves in assisting ministries that help the elderly and the homeless, as well as support our local neighborhood here in the Fruit Belt by cleaning and cutting vacant lots, and caring for community gardens.

Over the years TCWNY has relied on fundraising events and generous donations, and we are very grateful for the support.   Like so many others, however, in public and private sectors, we in the ministry have had to revamp our approach to fund-raising. Our current financial status causes us to take a proactive step in raising funds to help sustain the ministry.  Our desire is to expand our territory by forming new partnerships and we are excited about the opportunities to work with you as a full service ministry.

Here are the new services we will be provided:

v Inflatable’s:  TCWNY is now in partnership with Adonai Ministries that provide bounce houses, games, and popcorn, cotton candy and snow cone machines. For your next Family event consider renting the inflatable’s from Teen Challenge at a comparable rate and a portion proceeds will support TCWNY.

v    PIKPockets: TCWNY will be manufacturing and packaging PIKPockets Toothpicks. You can purchase your PIKPockets at www.pikpockets.com.

v    Stay Sharp:  This is our DVD based Drug Prevention Program. Our team will present the DVD and our students will share their powerful stories of their struggles with addiction. Stay Sharp is geared towards any age group from preteen to college age. Let’s stop addiction before it gets started.

v    Impact 100:  We are looking for 100 churches to commit to $100 per month to change 100 lives. 

Our standard services include:

v     Choir Services: Book a choir service today and allow your congregation to hear the testimonies of how lives have been changed through the power of God.

v    Induction  & Referral Center:  For men that struggle with addiction and life controlling problems we are here to help you through our 14 month program to overcome addictions. We also provide a referral service for women and adolescents.
