Legacy of Light This October

Buffalo was the first city in America to have electric street lights. Because of the plentiful hydroelectric power of Niagara Falls, "The Queen City" became known as the City of Light in the early 20th century. It is now time that the Church of Western New York and Canada rise up and be the glory of God in this region. "You are the light of the world - like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14 NIV)

On October 19th-21st at the Adams Mark Hotel (safe underground free parking) in Buffalo, NY, women from different churches will gather together with one voice to encourage one another in our shared, God given goals: "..let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 NIV)

Women, come and join us, and bring your friends with you! We have a brilliant room waiting to be reserved by you. Come be motivated by God's Word and encouraged by corporate worship. There will be good food, free time for fun, small gorups workshops, and voluntary community projects where we can invest in Buffalo with our heart and hands (transportation to safe locations). Let's role up our sleeves! Also learn how you might be creative in reaching people in your community. The spectacular weekend is designed to equip and empower women in our unique legacy of light that is most brilliant when we bond together as ONE power source in the Body of Christ.
